Introducing the Montra Beta

Today, we’re opening up the Montra beta.

We built Montra to make it faster to give people and agents the visual context they need to get work done.

Giving feedback on software still involves way too much manual work. You take screenshots, annotate them, and record a screen share, only to then screenshot the screenshots so that your agent has enough context to act.

We built Montra to make that process a whole lot smoother.

Hit record and talk through what you’re seeing just like you would with a teammate. Montra turns your recording into organized feedback with the relevant screenshots, transcript, and context attached.

From there, you can send the result to a teammate, drop it into Linear, or pass the link directly to your coding agent.

One piece of feedback, wherever the work happens

Sometimes the next step is handing something to an engineer or designer. Sometimes it’s asking Codex or Claude Code to make the change directly.

Montra is designed for both.

Every recording becomes a shareable document that keeps the original recording, structured feedback, screenshots, and transcript together. A teammate can quickly understand what you mean, while an agent gets the context it needs to act.

You don’t have to create one version for a person and another version for an AI.

We’re still early

We’re using the beta to learn where Montra fits best into the way teams already work: design feedback, bug reports, QA, product changes, founder to engineer handoffs, and agent driven development.

There’s a lot we still want to improve, but the tool’s already become a key part of our workflow, and we look forward to hearing what you think!
