A letter from our founder

WhywestartedMontra

Great software has always been a craft.

It comes from people who care not just about whether something works, but how it feels. The spacing that seems slightly off. The interaction that feels slower than it should. The customer comment that changes how you think about a feature. The standard you hold the product to.

Agents can see the screen. What they can’t see is your point of view.

Today, sharing that point of view still takes too much work. You take screenshots, record your screen, craft a prompt, explain it to a teammate, and often explain it again to an agent.

Every handoff is another chance for context to get lost.

That’s why we built Montra.

Montra turns the way you see your product, your feedback, context, and judgment, into something teammates and agents can act on together. It closes the gap between noticing what should change and getting that change made.

We’re a small team in Toronto, and we’re just getting started. If you’re building this way too, we’d love to hear from you.
